Organization Settings

Your organization's settings are managed here. Organization Administrator permission is required to make changes. However, most of the organization's data can also be viewed as a normal member.

Generally

General information about the organization and retention guidelines for transaction data and logs can be viewed and edited here. Please keep your organization's business-related information up to date.

User

Users of the currently selected organization are managed here. External users who have been specifically invited via a workspace are recognizable as such ("external" role). Once a user has been created, his master data can no longer be changed by third parties. The user himself can change his name in his profile. The email address cannot be changed as it uniquely identifies the user.

Groups

User groups enable the multiple assignment of users, especially in work areas. As soon as a user group is defined and users are assigned, the users are resolved directly in the work areas and are visible. Pay attention to the group's role when assigning it in the workspace, since the role applies to all members of the group.

External users have one limitation: they cannot be assigned to the privileged workspace "myOrganization", even through a group.

Workspaces

The workspaces management grid enables users to manage all organization workspaces in a central place. Visible workspaces are filtered in accordance to the user’s permissions and his workspace assignments within the organization.

From the grid toolbar, workspaces can be added, edited and deleted. Moreover users and groups can be assigned and OneNote notebooks can be connected and disconnected.

Activity Log

The activity log lists own user actions. This log shows the various states and the success of the triggered action, especially for long-running actions (e.g. optimization processes). It provides direct navigation to relevant data items via the eye icon.

Import history

This table shows all import processes available for your authorization level. At least you can see your own data imports here. Administrators have full access to all operations in their organization.

Licenses

Here you can see the currently assigned licenses of the organization you are currently in. Guest users do not have access to this information. The settings are managed by valantic. If you receive error messages when creating new objects, please contact our support. We will then immediately check whether further licenses can be granted.

API access

If data is to be exchanged automatically with one or more systems, so-called API access is used. The configuration of a specific user for the selected organization is possible here. The detailed documentation of the available endpoints can be viewed via the Swagger documentation link. If you would like to do the integration yourself, please contact our support for further details.
