In some tables in the application, you have the option of configuring views.
There are basically two types of views. Those that you share with other users and those that are only available to you. The collaboration lists have another view type that is saved on the template, but is otherwise no different from shared views.
With the help of the shared views you have the possibility to set certain settings predefined by you as the default view of a table. Unless users define or select their own view, this shared view will be applied automatically.
When loading a table, the last selected view is automatically restored.
When opening a table for the first time, the first shared view is loaded. If there are no shared views, the first personal view is taken.
If there are no saved views at all, the so-called "local view" is used, which initially corresponds to the default settings of the table. The "local view" is always reset. If you want to save your settings, save them in a personal view.
When you save a view, the following settings are taken into account:
With the help of the export or import functionality, it is possible to save views as a file and, if necessary, transfer them to other tables.
This function resets the settings of a currently loaded view. You can then reconfigure it.
